Presentation with WellPoint and Appearance by Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner Highlight OpenConnect Sponsored Events at Institute 2012
Dallas, TX June 14, 2012 - OpenConnect, the leader in process intelligence and workforce analytics solutions and services, today announced that as an AHIP Chairman Level Select Sponsor at Institute 2012, it will host several special events at this year’s conference.
OpenConnect CEO Edward M.L. Peters will be joined by Darren Ghanayem, WellPoint’s Vice President of Information Technology, on Friday, June 22nd for a breakfast symposium entitled Effective Strategies for Streamlining Administrative Processes to Meet MLR Requirements. In this informative session, Mr. Ghanayem will discuss WellPoint’s strategy and targeted initiatives in producing healthcare value, meaning lower cost and higher quality service to address Medical Loss Ratio (MLR). Central to the success of these initiatives, is the ability to measure the productivity and effectiveness of people and processes by leveraging OpenConnect’s Process Intelligence and Workforce Analytics solutions as the platform for the continuous improvement effort.
On Thursday evening, June 21st, Rulon Gardner, Olympic Gold Medalist, world wrestling champion and ‘Biggest Loser’ competitor will make a special appearance to sign autographs and take pictures with Institute attendees at OpenConnect’s booth (# 743). Mr. Gardner will speak at a private dinner function that evening hosted by OpenConnect.
