OPENCONNECT EXPANDS SECURITY FUNCTIONALITY AND USABILITY WITH WEBCONNECT AND WEBCONNECT SSO 6.4 DALLAS, TEXAS (August 3, 2004) — OpenConnect Systems, Inc., the pioneer of secure mainframe-to-web solutions, today announced the release of WebConnect SSO 6.4 which was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and includes enhanced security functionality as well as support for Microsoft’s leading operating systems. WebConnect SSO provides secure single sign-on, browser based emulation access to mainframe, midrange and UNIX systems. With WebConnect SSO users can sign on to multiple host applications with a single click of the mouse, enabling organizations to increase productivity and profits by providing suppliers, partners and employees with secure access to vital applications and information. WebConnect SSO 6.4 was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net, enabling this new release to operate efficiently on Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 2000, 2003 and XP. Version 6.4 will undergo Microsoft’s extensive certification testing to further validate WebConnect SSO’s performance on and compatibility with Microsoft platforms. “We have recently expanded our relationship with Microsoft, which has enabled us to ensure our Mainframe2Web Secure Solution Series interoperates extensively with Microsoft’s core infrastructure applications.
